Day One
So, today after months of planning and waiting, I joined the Edge of Africa volunteer team. Edge of Africa is an NGO based in Knysna, South Africa, which runs conservation and community outreach projects in the local area. I’ll be working in the township on various projects including helping out in the pre-school, working with vulnerable women in the community, raising awareness of HIV, running the recycling swap shop and helping to maintain the vegetable garden.
